If you are going away from Cape Town for a while and wish to be “offline” from the Talent Exchange, you can place your account on hold for the duration. This effectively “turns off” your account. You and your adverts will not appear on any lists and you will not be able to trade. Your account in fact becomes “hidden”.

To do this, log into your account and click on the [My Record] button at the top. That will open up your account record. On the right-hand side, just below the ‘Membership Card’ button, you will see Hide account. Check the checkbox and click the [Update] button. That’s all you need to do to immobilise your account. If you wish to become active again, all you have to do is uncheck Hide account and update your changes. After you have re-activated your account, old adverts might have expired and no longer be visible. Simply update them and they will come alive again.
